Explorium is Ireland’s National Sport & Science Centre, with a mission to inspire curious minds to discover the wonders of science through sport.
Explorium Ireland commissioned Domus Projects Lighting to design, supply and project manage the fitout of lighting throughout their entire facility. All fittings were to utilise the most current and up to date LED technology and deliver performance that would enhance this truly magnificent centre.
Our team of designers thoroughly enjoyed working on this project, which was full of challenges. We were able to deliver a fun and functional lighting solution, which worked fantastically with the sites infrastructure.

Distinguishing lighting features.
What really makes this project work is the use of a variety of different light fittings from different suppliers. Rather than boxing ourselves in with one or two choices we were able to create a magnificent lighting pallet by drawing on inspiration from all our lighting partners.
